4th of July Camping

Pictures from camping this past weekend ...

Where we camp is close to some of the fires burning, so it was pretty smoky all weekend. If we got out of the trailer early in the morning, it was beautiful. Later in the morning, they were setting back fires to help keep the fire away from our area so it was pretty ugly.

We had fun anyway! We took a few walks so Michael could collect sticks and rocks. When we were in our trailer, he was constantly looking out the window asking to go to Nanna and Papa's trailer ... then he'd bring us his shoes. He loved having breakfast with us, then walking over to Nanna and Papa's trailer to eat more pancakes with them!

Michael had his 15 month Dr. appointment this morning. He weighs just a bit over 20 pounds and is 29 and a half inches tall. Such a little guy! His cousin, Mia who is not quite 3 months old is 23 inches long ... Hmmm, they're a year apart and she's catching up to him already! Should be fun to see them both together when she visits in a month!

I love GOODNIGHT MOON!!
Looks like a lot of fun camping! Where do you go? Zack is going to Yosemite with Big Jim this next week and Jim will take Jade, Naissa and Isaac next weekend. I on the other hand, will stay home and shower and use the air conditioner - :)
